As part of the Beginners Workshop, our Chinese track addresses the special needs of Mandarin teachers as they incorporate or migrate to TPRS. Well-qualified coaches in Chinese will support every step you take as you receive hands-on practice for circling, PQA, story asking, creating readings, classroom activities, brain breaks, homework samples and much more!  Some topics that will be covered are:

  • How to transition an oral input to a reading in Chinese

  • How to develop TPRS friendly curriculum without moving away from your curriculum map

  • How to implement common core standards in Chinese curriculum

  • How to solve the pronunciation and tonal issues

  • How to teach students writing hanzi effectively in a digital world

  • Chinese TPRS teaching materials that are ready to use

  • Sample TPRS lessons, especially for high-level Chinese

  • Cope-sequence for Chinese TPRS

  • Vertical alignment for all levels of Chinese
